Timeshift is pretty fun but wow is it buggy. Crashes a bit. Comes with some gamespy client which is hilarious because they dont exist anymore. I'm always down for an FPS that has a decent shotgun and lets you slow down time (and also stop time in the case of this game).

I don't know which new terms are being turned into wordfilters. This must be what it's like to grow old

My favorite thing is new people who continue to say "gently caress" because they don't realize it's a word filter and think we're not actually allowed to say "gently caress" here. In more thread-relevant news, Danganronpa 2 is now out on Steam for anyone who's been hankering for some more bear-orchestrated murdering.

On the other hand I've never seen a goatse banme post so I guess it all depends on the circles one frequents.

Hmm... I'm tempted to just keeping level my one gal in DS3 until she can become everything instead of making another character. A Jacqueline-of-all-trades.

Tom Bombadil

Speaking of Tom Bombadil I finally got around to playing Shadow of Mordor and despite thinking I would be kind of lukewarm on the entire concept, I find myself really enjoying it so far. The combat is fun and the nemesis gimmick is interesting enough to sustain interest in what is otherwise a pretty by-the-numbers Unarkham Creed Raider. I like that the main quest is easy to follow and no missions last for more than a few minutes at a time. There is a satisfying number of humorous ways to kill or promote orcs and the plot is wayyyy better than the Witcher 3 and Dark Souls combined.

Finished Life Is Strange I think I found the optimum ending location, at the gallery then looked up the real ending. That sucks after all the poo poo you have to put up with and you get blackmailed with two two poo poo outcomes.

When I was in Kindergarten, Battlezone was one of the games I played more than any other. I had no idea a remake was being made. As jaded as I am about video games, I still love Battlezone a ton, probably more than any other game im recent memory. I wish all games made me feel this happy.

I'll cover LiS eventually because Episodes 1-4 are fantastic and devs should take inspiration from it, but it was clear that they had absolutely had no idea what to do once Episode 5 rolled around. Just make sure to die at the hands of an orc from time to time, or use the "pass time" option at the towers; dying (especially) and passing time are the triggers for the orc stuff to happen and how you get the most of the Nemesis system.
