At the very least, brown chests should just always be unlocked. That still won't guarantee a gun, but at least you might get something helpful.

They've tweaked it quite a bit. Some levels used to run like rear end even my desktop but it's mostly fine now. Another recommendation is flamebreak which gives you alot of control over your build, but it's kinda light contentwise. You're not going to get 100+ hours out of it, but it's solid for a while if you can get over the mobile game graphics. I'm one mimic kill from unlocking the necklace right now, and this is by far the most runs one of the frifle/mauser challenges has taken for me.

Anyone that could help me identify the last two guns of the Beholster? Apparently there is a bonus for getting all of them in one run I can see the Eye of the Beholster, Comm4ndo, Void Marshal and the Machine Pistol. The last two are the Colt and the Makarov maybe?

That made it the third time I've gotten to the fifth floor in 40 hours of this game, why do I suck soooo much.

Yay my first step of not being terrible at this game has begun. Getting an early Glacier was really nice for bosses. The fact that it seems to slow them and their attacks while also destroying any nearby bullets they were shooting was fantastic.

Getting the elevators done was a pain in the rear end but it's helped with doing other pain in the rear end parts of the game like grinding certain monsters for the hunt quests and recovering the robot arm.

I just noticed that holding the emblem from the sewer dungeon increases your damage. Standard Bulletkin went down in 2 starter gun hits on level 2 instead of 3.

So apparently there's a thing been patched in where if you haven't found any keys yet there's a guaranteed key in the shop, so if a key drops do not pick it up before you've gone to the shop so you can guarantee another. The rat doesn't take keys. Which is really stupid, the shop should just have a guaranteed key. Or you should just cheat for keys because it's way better that way Trying to squirrel away enough ammo to get through bullet hell while spending most of your money on keys and still possibly missing several gun drops is really terrible

Shop should carry at least 1 key/heart/ammo and a gun.

If anyone is curious as to how item rarity works, here's a list of every item and its rarity. Don't click if you don't want the names of all the items spoiled. Every item/gun is ranked D, C, B, A, or S which generally corresponds to brown, blue, green, red, and black chests respectively. There's still a few that haven't been filled in on that spreadsheet. If you want to help just open up the output.txt file in your Enter the Gungeon\EtG_Data folder after picking up an item from a chest or boss and it will show the rarity of the item in the text file. I don't think it works for other drops like munchers or shops.

Is there a huge damage bonus for having extra accuracy with a crossbow or something? I found the crossbow with the Marine and picked up a muscle relaxant to go along with my army training, and the crossbow was one-shotting pretty much every non-boss enemy, even the shotgun-kin on the 4th and 5th floors o_O

The crossbow also has high base damage, so yeah, anything that buffs it will see it one-shotting basic enemies all over the place for most of the game.
