So, help me out here...i'm going with a Dwarf Cleric on the campaign and made some budgets robots deck based on what i used for the frost arena when it came out. However, when i search for ...say: war machinist ... only 2 show up while i have 6 on my collection! What's up with this? Is it my 'champion' level? (I'm lvl 6 right now) EDIT: yeah, it's my champ level...found the screen showing the 'shard alignment'. EDIT2: posted at almost same time VVVVVV , yeah! This card is blowing my mind, is it completely absurd or am I missing something?  Pay 0 or 3 to give your opponent a 25-26.6% chance to draw a spider if played on turn 3 or before...and it's a common. They really like their spiders.

Cleave is a card in set 4, and the Orc hate card. A lot more evasion too with some serious life gain effects, I think spiders will be strong but not dominating like you're suspecting. A lot less eremites, infiltrators and cultivators to go in those decks, and only one pack with psychic torment.

Ugh, the lack of removal (outside some rocket specialists) on the Dwarf robot deck really doesn't help with some campaign encounters like the Killipede  Think i might restart as a Necrotic or something that can make use of Burn/etc. EDIT: or i guess i can just change my deck to not be just spamming bots ... hmm. madstrike fucked around with this message at 12:23 on Apr 24, 2016 |

Runeweb Infiltrator gets replaced by Eggblight Stalker. Lunacy and Incubate fuse into a single actually playable card called Azure Fang Decree. But it's worth nothing that the effects that make invidiual spiders super scary don't really exist at common/uncommon in Primal Dawn. There are no equivalents for Painbreeder or Vilefang Eremite or even Nahzk Webguard. You have to wait for Rare for Tribunal Magistrate. Primal Dawn spiders are definitely more focused along the lines of "spiders go in, spiders come out, you can't explain that" than "oh gently caress, a single spider popped. Welp, I'm dead".

Read through all the cards and read and watched some card analysis by various people, here are my random thoughts: I'm glad D/S fliers seems like it should be an archetype in limited again. I don't get the hype for Rally of Kings, I guess people think it's finally going to get a white weenie deck going in constructed? I get they are pushing this whole creatures from crypt thing in limited, but still not convinced it's going to be very good. Do people really think there's going to be a competitive Constant/Chant deck? I heard this mentioned several times by some of the fiveshard guys while doing their card overview. I was worried blood might be going downhill in constructed after seeing all the great flight/vampire hate, but maybe the vampires just come out and it turns into a super control deck with Coffin and Rise Again+Uruu's or something.

I usually get 10 or so of these between sets, so 10 free drafts is a good way to get started. Otherwise, yeah, I'll buy a few packs with which to draft. For the most part, I would sell almost every card you get immediately. If it follows Set 3, all the card prices will tank.

There's two or three cards I wouldn't sell unless the price is right, but pretty much across the board you can sell a rare/legendary on day 1-3 and then buy it a week later for less or just put that money towards more drafts. Don't buy singles unless you are impatient and want them for a constructed/pve deck immediately.

So, I backed this on Kickstarter and played some during the beta, then promptly forgot about it until I discovered the game on Steam. Re-installed it and started playing some PvE with a human mage. From reading a couple of pages in this thread, it's best to create multiple characters and play the campaign so you get the dungeon rewards? Right now I'm at the first bridge, the dude just lowered it and I can cross it (tried to go through the water but those Piranhas are killing me. Which is probably the point  ).I also have like 30 set 1 booster packs, and a ton of chests. What should I do with those? Open the boosters? Sell them? I doubt they are worth much, since everyone probably has every set 1 card there is? The game looks awesome though, really cool how minor touches on the playing field can create such a different atmosphere. And it's really cool that you can do stuff that's impossible with a classic tcg.

So! I'm pretty new to Hex. Played a bit of the campaign, bought some platinum and built a budget R/B Aggro deck for Frost Ring Arena, mainly: http://hex.tcgbrowser.com/#!/deck=66437 I quite like the deck and have some success with it. What are some logical ways to upgrade it from here? Must admit I don't get that much use out of Gore Feast. Hextcgbrowser has the Srimal Dawn cards there now, I made the mono-saph deck I've been wanting to try: http://hex.tcgbrowser.com/#!/deck=66429 The sideboard is a bit of a mess right now, it just contains all cards I would be considering. Obviously the main concern here is being able to protect Starcaller Ancient which has me heavily considering Arcane Shield or Arcane Zephyr. I'm not sure if Zephyr would be good enough and Arcane Shield would still be great for Reese worst case scenario. Peek doesn't work with Starcaller Ancient, I don't know if it needs to in order to be effective but I can always replace it with Oracle Song if it causes problems. I was stuck on 61 cards for like 10 minutes trying to figure out the last card to cut and I went with Lanupaw's Sight, but it might be very well that I want 4 of those. Edit: Also might be completely neccessary that I have to fit Eldritch Dreamers back into the deck, might not be enough evasion here. Ok, thanks for the advice. Something else I was wondering. If you build a new deck, does it automatically show all the cards you own in the deckbuilder? Or do the cards that are in other decks you created not show up anymore? Since everything is online and you can't play two decks at once, it could be the first option right?
