The Escalation mode has astonishing depth, too; the different characters and the restrictions for how to kill them really go a long way to getting you to deconstruct the entire level, tons of things you don't necessarily see with the main two targets.

The first fifth of Evil Within maybe is survival horror then it shoves you into 3rd person shooting and some of the worst boss fights ever made. Didn't help that the story was so loving bad it made Resident Evil look like Shakespeare. When I played it at launch, the performance was also probably the loving worst I've ever seen on the console.

I've said it before but Evil Within feels like a weird game that came out before RE4 and of which RE4 was the polished sequel to. It's so weird how it feels like a regression of RE4 in a ton of basic ways.

My problem with Dishonoured, apart from it looking ugly as gently caress, was that if it's possible to do a non-lethal don't get spotted run I'm going to try and do it, even if it's the least fun way to play the game.

Watch Dogs is fine if you paid $20 or less for it. Free is the perfect price. There are some enjoyable activities to do like convoys, and the online player vs player is pretty neat.

Pretty much. It was one of those games where there was a lot of cool stuff on the periphery like the random character notes and the tracking games but once it tried to drag you back to the main story it was just painful. I bought it at full price and never even finished it

There's nothing wrong with giving away a new version of one of the best games ever made, the problem is that it's the very worst version of one of the best games ever made. Glitchy and laggy at launch, with content cut out and sold at launch as expansion packs. To me it's a bigger stain on Ubisoft then AC: Unity.

Sisterwife was a mormon/polygamy term WAY before Watchdoge came out (in fact there is a show called Sisterwives which I've never seen I'm just aware it exists) Anyway, Watchdogs isn't really that bad once you lower your expectations to the Ubisoft setting.

You have to climb around and hack cherry pickers and stuff to reach network hubs to reveal parts of the map. They're kind of neat puzzles sometimes, but it all evokes Assassin's Creed so hard you're like, goddamn it Watch Dogs man why can't you just parkour up this tiny wall.
