I wish you would have just put out a real talk reason for why you were leaving, zephyrine, but I guess admitting to being bored and burning out on space work isn't a compelling reason in the face of high-level spies nailing themselves on crosses for all to marvel at. Gotta get on their level to make friends in the new crew I guess, though I think just being honest and open about your reasons would have made you enough friends anyways?

Friend Videogames, if you want to go on a truly special sightseeing trip, there's a system called New Eden (that the EVE galaxy was named after) that contains the EVE Gate, a supermassive (now collapsed) wormhole that, lorewise, was the original stargate bringing people to this part of the universe before it all broke. The Eve Gate collapsed wormhole is rather pretty to look at, and it's worth seeing at least once for story reasons if nothing else. Warning: It is in lowsec, meaning that other players can shoot you, but the constellation of lowsec it's in is isolated from any other areas of lowsec, so people are less likely to be there since it's a dead-end. The last high-sec system before making the run is Imya. You could probably make the run in a shuttle.

Also glad to hear mining went well last night friends  I am sad I missed out due to having to go to sleep. Stupid time zones! Rocks drones are fantastic though! I feel a little safer against the Gurmistas in Umokka!

I took a few pictures of that mining op! A shame we weren't all in a belt all close together to get a family photo though. Here's a shot of Rock with my Skiff in the background!  And here's another of my Skiff and another corp mate's Procurer.  I have a bunch of other pictures but they're mostly just my Skiff being surrounded by rocks.

Umokka seems to work for us while VG learns the game - it's close to the old home base and close to Jita. Eventually I think someplace quieter would be ideal. Umokka is a mission system with upwards of 40 in local sometimes and only 12 belts. 12 is an okay number, but pre-downtime these belts are picked right over. Normally I'd push for something outside Caldari space because I hate its busy-ness but there are some spots even without leaving Lonetrek that might work out better in time. We'll sweat this stuff later, though. For now VG, you just keep on bein' you.

Edit: I was around and had CD access for when we first made friends with TEST. They were literally the  newbies we started off as, making friends with them at the time was a good idea. The whole 'Montolio was a nutcase' thing wasn't our propaganda or anything, he really did go off the rails. After about 2012 or so illum became dull as hell and was instead used as an attaboy for people who did work, as well as for member-corp CEOs who kept their corps active. As you'd expect with a channel of 50-ish people there were and are leaks so it's natural that important or secret stuff gets discussed in the star chamber, corps diplo, or other more select rooms instead.
