Will the game warn me before I accidentally sell or use a character weapon as upgrade chow? I'm still fairly new, but I've got enough R characters now that my stash is just kinda filled with R stuff and I don't want to accidentally make one of my characters vanish. v Well that's a huge relief, thanks. Character may come with weapons , but they aren't tied to them, once you get a character its impossible to get rid of them, thankfully.

You can do whatever you want with the R weapons but hang onto the SR ones since you can Reduce (disenchant/diassemble/whatever you wanna call it) and they give More Than Average Amount Of Materials. If you merge or sell your Ramen + Chopsticks weapon though you're probably a monster

Am I missing something here or does the Casino seriously give you 10BP and 250AP daily, for a pretty reasonable amount of chips, with no strings? Beyond that you run out 10 days before a month ends, but whatever, that's still kinda nuts. Grinding out poker has already given me ~600k chips so I should probably ask if it's worth blowing a pile on the SSR summon or weapon in a couple weeks, or just bank all those chips for the various upgrade materials?
|
# ? May 8, 2016 04:49 |
|
Nope, you can just pick up those consumables up over 20 days a month. One of the saner things in the granblue grinding, being able to bank ap for whatever important grinds you're chasing after. Casino SSR summon is pretty good , large ATK active effect and solid statstick. Gold animas are great if you wanna stock a bunch for 1/2 apfest. I wouldn't recommend upgrade materials unless you have something in mind.

I have two of the event Light SSR harps. Is it worth grinding for another to possibly MLB in the future? I'm 400k honor or 95 gold badges away from the next ones. I already have MLB Druj so the only decent token rewards left are crystals or class points.

The harp isn't really good enough to use long term, and Luminiera drops an ATK L harp so it's even less in demand. That said, event SSRs are pretty easy to get (in the grand scheme of things), so if it's feasible for you grab the rest without breaking your resource bank, I'd go for it. Even if you don't MLB the harp, they can be used as skill fodder.

If you got characters or gear for a Light setup then I'd recommend getting the harp. Not so much because it is a Good Weapon or anything but because light weapons with atk up on them are on an incredibly short list. Otherwise we do have another guild war scheduled in a couple weeks so you can try for some of those later. If you wind up only getting three then you could always keep the third separate and use it as fodder.

More information on the Sakura Taisen collab event. There's three event characters this time. A loyalty character, Sakura; a treasure trade-in character, Erika; and one for completing the event Story, Gemini(?).

Then March hit and we're getting one every month. The CG collab in march was amazing, 5 event SRs outta that. We'll never see any SSR collab characters sadly, but at least they don't try to gouge you to get collab stuff. Also granblue won some 2015 famitsu award, soooo promotions!

So I really, really like the Ogre class and I've decided to stick with it as my first Extended Mastery. What should I be spending my EMP on? I've got something like 2800 JP to convert if I want, so are the sub skills worth it? I've got no clue where to even start

From what I understand damage dealing is paramount so attack up, maybe double attack up or ability damage up depending on class, but it helps to understand the purpose of your class (Ogres build lots of extra meter so bonus damage on charge/ougi attacks might be useful). For the majority of classes the extra skills are gimmicks that use up your EX slot and can't be used outside the job line, so most aren't very popular. Veil is a notable exception because bad statuses can be deadly and Veil pre-emps them nicely.

I just declined a random scout invite, does that mean I have to wait 24 hours to be invited to a crew? I've never actually joined one. If I can still join a crew I'd love an invite to the goon one. my ID is: 10885536

Thanks, that makes sense I suppose. I was mostly looking at the skill that turns your Counter into a taunt, but then I noticed it's a one turn effect on a 7 turn cooldown. That is some bullshit right there. The other skill is a stackable attack boost, but I get basically the same effect out of Taking Chances. No real reason to take either. I'm thinking I'll boost my Ougi damage first and then go to Attack, then DA.

So I just finished up doing the other apps for all the premium tickets. I'm sitting on 4k crystals and 9 tickets at the moment. I started playing at the last legfest, which was during Unite and Fight. Do the legfests always coincide with Unite and Fight or do we have no idea when the next one is?

For this year so far, it's been a pretty safe rule that legfests occur at the end of the month.

I'm two thirds of the way down the Hawkeye and Sidewinder lines too. I know I should really get myself to Dark Fencer, but I just don't really like that job line and Misery Mist feels so ubiquitous that it has turned me completely off of it. Literally every single guide I've read has been so far up its rear end that I just don't care. After going in 3 stars on my Ogre's Ougi and one star on his attack, I'm still sitting at around 2400 JP. I figure I'm going to save them and unlock the rest of the classes as I want.

I mean, you also stack Mastery Bonuses from every class you finish, so that only helps you in the long run since those don't ever turn off and apply to whatever class you play. And even if you don't enjoy an particular class at leas you'll have gotten to try them out, gotten the EX Skills that might be handy later, and collected the Mastery bonus. And I don't know if you've peeped how much CP the Tier IV and Extra Tier classes cost, but 2400 isn't that much.

Yeah, I took a look at the stuff past Tier 3 and I figure I'm nowhere near any of those classes being a thing yet anyways. I'm really more interested in just getting whatever I can out of this game while I can. It's not like I have any possibility of spending money on it. Hopefully I'll get some good stuff out of the next legfest. I know I don't necessarily need SSR characters, but it'd be nice to have one or two just so I can begin building a team around them. As it stands now I'm trying to get a wind pool together for Ryu and Rashid so I can then go on to getting a Light pool together for Feather and Daetta. Edit: For the record, my permanent bounses are currently sitting at the following: ATK +1% DEF +1% Skill Damage +15% Inhibit Overdrive +3% Debuff Resistance +8% HP +6% Debuff Success Rate +1% Crono S.
