New players farting love alternate win cons, and whenever they mill a good card they get hyphy as gently caress about it. Actually a lot of players get a little tilted at seeing one of's or good cards get milled, but so long as you don't get decked and lose from it, it's no different than those cards being in the bottom 15% of your deck.

You know what makes no sense? How SCG thinks they can still get 5 bucks a month from people for subscribing to their twitch channel when they only stream every once in a while nowadays.

Substitute their chat with Something Awful vs 4chan and you'll see that it's actually a very good thing that they have to pay to chat imo.

patrick is really awesome (cedric too), I'd watch born of the gods limited if those two guys were doing the commentary. the fact that it's modern and that modern is great right now is even better. they should invest in some better lights for the venue though, it's really dark on the stream.

So long story short, I piloted Naya Burn at modern states today to a 4th place victory. I learned that Abzan company (my only losses) is so annoying that I really need Path to Exile and Anger of the Gods in the sideboard. Otherwise, a fun experience, and easily my highest placement in a tournament ever!

rabidsquid posted:I guess that might be true but I've never seen something to that level on an MTG stream or League of Legends I admit I haven't seen the Hearthstone stream being referenced, but I certainly see a similar phenomenon in MTGO streams. Every time a female player is on camera or doing commentary for a competitive event, the chat instantly fills with stupid leading questions insinuating that they aren't worthy of being featured. Fortunately this is usually followed by a merciful round of timeouts, but it feels like the only difference between that and the racism incident is volume.
