I have 7500 cryptic bucks saved up from not playing for almost a year and a half, what are good ships or should I just convert it all into a fearsome stash of dil I see there are T6 Scimitars now. Also is there any opinion on what is good to use in the new skill system All my stuff is reset and I don't know what I'm doing

The krenim imperium warship is really fun because it is the only ship available to feds with a 5/3 weapon layout with 5 tac consoles and intel seating for that delicious double override subsystem safeties with all the traditional beam skills. The second biggest mistake I made in this game was not making my main a Romulan for scimitar superiority.

The Scimitar is for DPS Spergs. I'm surprised even after they've added what, like fifteen new episodes since DR came out they didn't just shuffle around the mission level requirements so you could gracefully level to 60 without grinding.

Here's my build. Good luck copying it with all the rare poo poo in there   It destroys everything  Also I took this screenshot when I was still levelling the latest jackpot ship. (thanks zen from dilithium Key Fourteen) Normally this runs off the T6 Alita which is basically Boss Torpedo Boat for Federation. The only difference is less eng consoles and more tac. In fact, good luck even figuring out what all those icons even mean

On the Alita you toss on two more tac consoles and the torpedo defence console for a free 50k instant damage (minimum) on everything in range every couple minutes. Sol Defense was a pretty good leveling set, back when you could do the mission at level 10+, and get mark IV, free-upgrading variants of the pieces.
