hoo boy i read all of this thread in like a week and only just now figured out why my initial attempt at painting some of my blood angels went so weirdly i bought a set of three brushes and used a drybrush like "oh, this is the biggest brush and i've got to paint this dude red all over so i'll just use this"  i fixed it eventually, but WOW it was a weird look also remind me to show you all the guy i put a beastman arm on, hoo boy did i gently caress up on HIS paintjob (because i was still going for some wonky feral world dudes who took cool poo poo from their enemies, so "guy with a signaling horn" seemed okay to me)
