We're actually pretty casual about divvying up work; a lot of us are multi-taskers. But when you say "I'll take care of X," you have to actually do X in a timely manner. (This also means that it's pretty important to know when to say no -- there's been times when I've had too much on my plate, I've been asked to do something, and I admit that I don't have time/energy to do it. I'm not sure if that's intentional, but it's the attitude that I received, and it's a major reason that I didn't follow leboe to PL when I burned out at Rote.

I'm sorry the idea of not having a singular god king ruling over the alliance is a foreign concept. Killah has been leading PL since the move to Vale. Other FCs help out when they can so you will see Manny, Mukk, and some other guys who aren't Eve famous running fleets as well.

I became a director because I was literally the only person doing anything in recon. My predecessor was having a quarter life crisis loving chicks topping a deuce and a half in weight. If you do enough work in a sector, and it's good work, and you're not a complete dickhole without social graces you'll easily find yourself becoming a director after passing the eye test. GSF doesn't work without directors, because directors are the people that are dumb enough (myself included) to either herd cats, or enable others to herd cats without the expectation of fame or fortune.
