I dunno man, even with KF1 people could play the game on hard mode or easy mode(medic/zerk). Every class wasn't equal. Commando in KF1 was always a more advanced class. Such as how on every difficulty except Hell on Earth, Sharpshooter is god tier and can kill literally everything except Fleshpounds in one or two crossbow bolts, so they gave Fleshpounds on HoE resistances specifically to crossbow bolts, which doesn't help because they still die to it really quickly anyways. about 6 or so months before KF2 became a thing there was a very obvious 'gently caress it' mentality in KF1 and all sorts of ridiculously overbalanced and weird poo poo kept coming up it was kinda like 'whatever, we're about to make kf2 so let the people still playing this game have a blowout'

I wish headless monsters lost tracking and just started swinging. I'm not saying take the Dead Space route and make headshots a bad idea but just mke it so they can't perfectly track you anymore.
