Utensil of the Gods.

Huge_Midget posted:

Yes it's real. IMS is loving massive. It has the largest seating capacity of any venue on earth. It holds 350,000 people officially. You don't appreciate it until you are there and realize the straights are over a half mile long. Here is a picture that helps with the sense of scale.

And yes that picture is legit.

I've been to the Indy 500, and it's crazy how many people there are. A lot of people bus in and there's cars parked for miles around. A vendor of ours inherited box seats which are on the bottom straight to the right of turn 4, it was pretty impressive but you don't really see much. They are so fast and the straight is so long you only see them for a few seconds.

That looks dope as hell, but it's purely for show and doesn't move right? Any kind of change in elevation and that is going to get stuck on the smallest thing.

Curbs are it's natural enemy.

Yes but it's a Citroen DS, so if it was done properly they can just jack it up on the hydraulic suspension.

In reality I'm sure it would be way too hard to actually replicate the hydraulic suspension for the rear axles, but I can dream can't I?

Eh, I like Caymans.

The owner of this 991 Turbo S told me that x1 wheel costs £2500 to replace, and because it's shod with carbon ceramic brakes (which are bigger than a large dinnerplate), the rotors themselves cost more than the calipers. Alot more.
