That "forward" badger flag with the green/white/blue is awesome (though I'm not fond of the green legs) but it's still awesome and I would be proud if that was my state's flag.

There are reports that there were two endorsements prepared: that video, and a shorter statement. After talking with Bernie, Obama OK'd the video, making it pretty clear that Bernie's fine with it. As he should be! Obama was very complimentary of Bernie in the video.

But, oh, hey, they elected a Republican governor in an off-year wave election when the Democrats had a massive civil war over their nominee, so obviously it's ripe for him to take. dr_rat posted:This article : http://talkingpointsmemo.com/livewire/appeals-court-no-2nd-amendment-right-concealed-carry Hilariously, it looks like the objection in California specifically is that they also ban open-carry in most places, and if it is basically impossible to get a concealed-carry permit, then that effectively removes the ability to carry a firearm outside one's home at all, which could be interpreted to infringe on the 2nd Amendment. But the reason California bans open-carry in the first place is because of a Republican-backed law signed by Saint Ronnie in response to Black Panther neighborhood patrols.

I mean, sweet in the sense that that is what the myth is about. The actual pelican ripping its flesh off to feed its young is actually quite metal. Too bad Louisiana is a more "Eat the Young" state and would probably do better with, I dunno, a fat listless alligator? Edit: With an oil rig behind it.
