I.         Important Dates

A.     Contract good for 6 years

B.     Should receive a hard copy between 6/5-6/12 (approximately)

C.     Voting will take place 6/15-7/5 (approximately)

D.     Contract start date is TBA

II.         Pay

A.     January Pay Raises

1.     In accordance with government-wide raises

2.     Band will move with raises

3.     No cap on raises for six years

B.     1.6% June Pay Increases

1.     Guaranteed for six years

2.     Cap is in effect on these raises and bands will not move

3.     If at cap you will receive lump sum

C.     August Signing Bonus

1.     1% lump sum

2.     Will take place first full pay period of August

III.         Worker’s Rules

A.     Sick Leave

1.     40% buy-back

B.     Annual Leave

1.     Prime time and non-prime time leave will be overseen by union

C.     Credit Hours

1.     24 hours max carried over per pay period

2.     Supervisors cannot solicit credit hours

 

D.     Schedule

1.     5-4-9 schedules are available as well as 4-10’s

a.      5-4-9 = 5 – nine hour days, 4 – ten hour days,

E.     Other Leave

1.     Eight hours excused leave for retirement seminars

2.     FMLA – “Acting” parents added to FMLA

3.     Fatigue leave added to agreement

4.     Workgroup has been created to explore further options for parental leave

F.     Other Issues

1.     OJTI and CIC will not be a further qualification for choosing overtime

2.     Written performance records by supervisors will expire after 24 months

3.     Record of conversations will expire after 24 months

IV.          Further Exploration Workgroups 

A.     Workgroups have been created for the following situations:

a.      Electric car charging at facilities

b.     Fatigue Mitigation

c.      Hazardous Material

d.     Asbestos
