They're great for an infantile man cave and also they hang from the electrical cord.

I just noticed the curtains and wondered how they're going to open.

They'll open just fine. But you have to open them from the outside-in, or else you'll end up with a bunch of loose curtain fabric.

It kind of looks like theres a sheet of glass over then and were seeing reflections, but it could be an optical illusion based on the patter of the fabric and the view outside.

Lime Tonics posted:And now for your viewing pleasure, ahhhh I recognized this house immediately! It used to be the same size, same floorplan, but the guy who owned it before the pimp was eccentric (because rich people are never called 'crazy') and had a million junk concrete statues all over the front grounds and on the balconies. Huge ones. Ones that make the current ones look super tasteful. House itself was painted blue and teal. Either there were less windows, or, possibly, I didn't notice all the windows because of all the poo poo in the front yard. It looked like the owner had tried to make one of those "quirky" attraction houses on the cheap. The whole thing had a vague ocean/water theme, I wonder if the dolphin fountain or w/e it is in front was salvaged and painted white. There were definitely mermaids and vague griffin-looking things, as well as fake Roman/Greek statues, all painted crazy colors before. I kind of liked it, it broke up the insane boringness that is driving through Indianapolis. Here's the inside before the pimp-remodel, from what I can tell: http://www.curbed.com/2012/7/30/10346456/1332-queens-way I've been told the place was originally five regular houses, but I have no idea if that's true. I can definitely see it, though. Here's the pimp Here's the pimp with his cat at Christmas I found one of the griffins, confirmed that they just painted the statues white and moved 'em around Jesus Christ A couple new pics here: http://www.gossiprocks.com/forum/home-garden/244555-most-craptastic-house-history-houses-now-sale-862-000-a.html
