I appreciate that each car actually does a pretty good job of reflecting each character and keeping them distinct.

With a name like "Ice Charger" I now fully expect Dom to unveil a stable of chargers each themed after the next dungeon place the crew will travel to. An Ice Charger, a Jungle Charger, a Lava Charger.

Did anyone see the rerelease of the first one? It was apparently for the 15th anniversary.

Nope, unfortunately I don't think they did it here. I really wanted to go though because I remember going to the original screening as if it was yesterday - a friend and I went to see it on 9-11 and in the middle of tbe movie I got a notification about the first plane crashing on my phone via the then-cool email to SMS service.

Are they going to have to break Hobbes out of jail while battling Helen Mirren and Charlize Theron?

I hope so.

I was on vacation over in Iceland back in April, right when they were doing some stunt filming over there. They were supposedly based out of a town a 45 minute drive from Reykjavik, so went for a drive to check it out. On the way there, we got stuck behind a huge trailer hauling an APC of some sort. Iceland doesn't have a standing army, so I was wondering why they'd be transporting those around when it hit me: I was behind one of the truck transports.

We ended up following it all the way town and down to an old fishing dock. I got out and took a few photos, and the driver was incredibly nice. He gave me and my girlfriend a tour of the building holding a bunch of the other military vehicles, showed us some video of the ice roads he had to drive these massive trucks over, and a few sneak peaks at some stunts they were filming. The majority of the work was being done on a frozen lake all the way on the northern coast, so we wouldn't be able to get up there, but just seeing a few of them up close was incredible. Seeing more of these photos get released is just amping me up more. They were filming here in NYC this past weekend, but I wasn't able to swing by.

On a side note, they are doing a FF movie experience in Brooklyn this summer: http://gothamist.com/2016/07/07/bbq_films_hosting_fast_furious_scre.php
