Theyre hella loving sharp because due to how it breaks (in a way much like normal glass) the edge can be just a few dozen atoms across. Its absolutely poo poo at holding an edge though.

"Cutting between the cells" is not a thing knives can physically do, but obsidian can indeed get as sharp as they claim and is really cool in general.
