The second Corbyn's gone I'm back to saying Labour's unsavable. I don't care if Pissflaps had a good time during the Blair years.

I can't understand the PLP's thought processes here. Like, surely if they thought they could win a leadership contest they would have actually called one by now. Or if they didn't think they could win one, they would be trying to mobilise the CLP and get people to join the Labour party to vote for whoever their candidate is? Instead they have chosen a strategy that has completely fallen apart due to one guy saying 'no'.

Theresa May is like a serial killer who kills the homeless and prostitutes by one quick stab to the heart. Sure she doesn't get as much press coverage as Chainsaw Charlie but she racks up a far bigger body count than everyone else. And that's what May has done. On a very real level. She's pure evil.

Their entire strategy was to assume he would cave AFAICT. Now that he hasn't they don't know what to do, because they know that there would be incandescent fury if they loopholed him off the ballot paper, and they know that whatever sacrifical lamb they send out loses horribly if he IS on the ballot paper, so the whole thing is at an impasse because JC is choosing to respect the decision the party made, and they sort of forgot the party existed until after they pulled the trigger AFAICT
