Male pregnancy being official canon would be most fanfic writers dream come true.

Yeah but he has to birth the kid from his rear end like Kes but rear end muscles don't snap back like cooze muscles do, so most guys still adopt. Now all I can think about is Bob loving Jimmy Pesto.

It's surprisingly easy to find in it's entirety online. Sadly, Bob isn't paunchy enough and the restaurant layout is wrong. Also I refuse to believe Linda has bolt-on tits.

I've been going through random Voyager episodes, and I've actually really liked them. Not great, but they're as good as good Trek. But I think I've figured out a trick that works most of the time when looking through the episode descriptions: -If it's a plot that seems like it could have been written as a TOS episode, it might be okay to watch. If you could imagine the story being transplanted with the TOS characters, it's good. -If it feels like it couldn't be a TOS episode and revolves way too much around the characters or setting of Voyager, it won't be good. -Notable exception: Year of Hell. Too much a Voyager-centric plot, but somehow great.

Also, at the end of the day, there's a reset button that makes it into an imaginary/fanfic story vibe that lets them go crazy with whatever they want to do. It doesn't make a whole lot of sense, it does sort of move by too quick, but there's something to it I sort of liked.

FilthyImp posted:It feels like it should have been VOY's BoBW. Just like Q foreshadows the immense danger of the Borg, timeslipping Kes mentions YoH and the people lost to it. The only downside to doing a full season of Year of Hell would be that if you're hitting that reset button with zero repercussions, you've wasted the audiences time, maybe. A half-season Year of Hell that sort of pulled a stunt that they're still dong some of the stuff that they would have during Year of Hell, but for the second half now we're seeing it from the perspective of how different their interactions are due to the fixed timeline. An excuse to reuse costumes, make-up effects, sets, effects, etc.

Jolene Blalock doesn't look real. She looks like that time in Mars Attacks! when the alien dressed up as Tim Burton's wife and went to the white house.

Now they know they're in for poo poo and don't have a convenient roadmap. At the end, you're left with a Voyager that's cemented some Proto-fed alliance, an altered model for the ship to reflect the patchwork fixes, and maybe some avenues for future character development. Which serves as a better foil for when they meet Captain Badass and the starship U.s.s. Alien Juicers.
