I never played during the Delta Recruit event, how does it work when this Temporal Agent ends? I know new characters won't be Temporal Recruits but will character made during the event lose access to the progression stuff?

As long as you've finished the first arc by the end of the event and actually get recruited you have as long as you want to actually unlock all of the bonuses. The only things that go away once the event is over is the option to create a new temporal recruit and the special trait that gives extra dil for killing enemies.

So, after mucking about with them for a few days, what are people's opinions on the Temporal bridge officer powers?
(If you didn't see it, you can get a specialization for the Temporal line from one of the new missions.)

The AOE shield drain/heal is ok - roughly a sci team, same with the AOE hull drain/heal being like an aux to struc heal. Must haves? Nah.

Haven't experimented with the rest.

I haven't spent too much time with them but I have ground out two of the three 31st century ship traits so I've spent a bit of time in Argala. They seem quite good - I've been having fun with the Entropic Cascade and Timeline Collapse fired into a good old fashioned Gravity Well for big numbers.

I haven't messed around much either, but they seem a drat sight better than the Command skills yeah. Really the main issue seems to be the usual ones for specialist seating, where the "essential" boff skills (EPTW, BFAW, etc) are so critical that you either have to have an excess of that type (which usually only happens on specialist cruisers, since there's only 2-3 really useful engineer boff powers) or the power has to be absurdly good (OSS) if you want to justify using it.

The temporal ship gimmick itself seems pretty handy though.

Should call the Temporal Multi-Mission Ship or whatever the 'Future Vesta'

I'd buy it in an instance if it could use the Vesta consoles.

The Chronos is great in this regard, because it's Temporal Ops seat is also it's Commander Engineering seat and gently caress Engineering skills forever. I've got to do some testing but here's my setup so far:

LtCom Tac: Tac Team 1, Attack Pattern Beta, Attack Pattern Omega
Lt Tac/Temp Ops: FAW 1 and 2
Ensign Engineering: Eng Team 1
LtCom Sci: Hazard Emitters 1, Sci Team 2, Grav Well 1
Commander Eng/Temp Ops: Causal Reversion 1, Shared Fate 1, Entropic Cascade 1, Timeline Collapse

Loaded up with EPG Fleet consoles and running Temporal Operative as a primary spec, this thing feels like the ultimate Scihole ship.

The D4x is pretty nifty with the wings twisting and firing jets based on whatever pilot trick you fire off. Really good model.

It's pretty much a direct improvement on the pilot ships, and those were already fun. Trading a rear weapon slot for the flanking bonus and the all-universal raiding seating is a pretty good trade, and it's a shame it'll be rare as hell in the wild since everyone's going for connies or that romulan carrier.

I wish they'd give all new Escorts the pilot abilities because they are super fun.

That being said, I've been tooling around on my main in the Temporal Raider and it's really rad.
