At least it's more fodder for my admiralty but honestly the stats aren't that good for it either. If they made it ignore all difficulty mods and made it gold rarity it'd be cool but as is it's like... I have a better ship from the summer event.

Don't be silly. The real power of the gold ship is the secret console that lets you spend dil to automatically buff all your stats for 1 minute with unlimited stacking. As long as you're not a space poor you'll get more than enough power to plow through the most difficult queues solo.
