Cut and fabricated into a custom truck cab, hood was split and hinged down the middle, and then reshaped to give it the 40's look (All steel NOT a kit) Hand made grill, has early Chrysler emblem on there, just because it was lying around and cool. Side windows create the split rear. Floors solid and have been modified with trans tunnel and flat bench seat fabricated, doors and windows work as they should. Very little of the factory dash is left Instruments are new and aftermarket. Speedometer works when the cable stays on. All billet tilt column and steering wheel, horn works. Only spot that had rust was the bottom of the drivers door, was blasted and painted hasn't progressed since. Solid through out. it sits on a 1981 Toyota truck Frame(Toyota brakes new components) New Shocks bushings etc. Engine & Tranny is out of a 78 Pinto (with less than 60k) 2.3L 2brl carb & AT. The bed and rear fenders were hand made to scale, tail gate is functional, Wood bed floor. Currently running spacer adapters to accommodate Model A rims with period correct Nylon Goodyears(tires are shabby at best but look great & role out nice) reduced $6500(way more invested) Kind of what I expect from a guy who thinks a chrysler emblem is cool e; sorry I cannot figure out why the pics aren't posting Dr.Caligari fucked around with this message at 02:54 on Jul 28, 2016 |

This is the saddest ad ever http://eugene.craigslist.org/cto/5700467607.html quote:Here's the situation. My father-in-law, age 92, has decided to stop driving. He bought the Miata new in December, 2009. He hasn't driven it a lot, only 21,084 original miles. However, there are several scratches, scrapes and other bruises because his vision has been deteriorating of late. That being said, it is in perfect mechanical condition. High Blue Book is $13,270 in excellent condition and Low Blue Book in fair condition is $11,544.

The saddest ad I've ever seen was a dude advertising his E36 5 speed that he couldn't drive anymore because he had a stroke and his left leg was too weak to use the clutch. I didn't go to see it because there was too much sadness.

Also I'm fairly sure there was never a cop car with a 273 2v -- that was the era of "cop car" being second only to NASCAR in option packages, every Mopar cop car in the late '60s had at least a 4v 383, and maybe a 440 sixpack.

This car has been with me since 1999, I am the third owner. The body has around 115 000 miles, the drivetrain around 3500 miles and the engine has about an hour run time after a fresh rebuild. Have driven it around the block twice. This is an unfinished project, needs some wiring, interior and minor mechanical work (hood vent, charge pipe) and it needs to be tuned professionally.

That's a few design decisions away from being fairly cool. 1. Delete 4 of the lights on the front, leaving only the outer set. 2. Get rid of the ridged poo poo on the bumpers/sides 3. Remove bonnet scoop 4. Remove lettering on trunk 5. Add duck tail spoiler

Actually a pretty neat car. Weird hood and front bumper but the rest isn't as terrible as I'd expect. Why does it need a fuel cooler? I couldn't figure out wtf it was in the pictures until I read the description.
