That is really cool. I wonder how the L-arm axles and bearings hold up, and how the braking system is set up (looks like the front set might have a tiny drum in each).

They used to (40+ years ago?) make specialist conversions of Land Rovers with a similar flatbed rear end, the truck being set up as FWD and the rear axle replaced with independent arms on hydraulics.
