I've ridden in that car... It's not a Singer, just a regular '69 911 in burnt orange. Still pretty nice.

I know there's an entire thread devoted to the car elsewhere in here but omfg the Focus RS. Have been waiting to get some seat time in one for a couple of years now and Ford finally let us play with it today. The pedals are terrible for heel and toe, and the clutch and gearbox conspire against smooth shifts, by otherwise the thing is perfect. I would take one over a McLaren 570S every day of the week. Engine and exhaust noise is excellent. Handling is sublime. Drift mode is a hoot even if you'd basically never use it. The torque vectoring is a joy. And with the seats folded flat it even meets the needs of AI's grandfather clock delivery merchants (almost). Best car I've driven all year, and that's saying something since the competition includes the RS7 Performance (the 600hp one), California T, that aforementioned 570S, and the Corvette Grand Sport, among others.

Weird. That dude had a thing for Mk1s that just fit into Bilstein HDs. Coincidentally get the rabbit pickup and lift that.

Even with my Scirocco the stock suspension height appears lifted compared to modern cars. Just putting stock springs in a rabbit pickup would probably get your desired look.

Upon reflection and googling lifted hatchbacks I realized my fascination with this look comes from baja beetles. So I guess it's good to have sorted out that part of my brain. Here's a famous one (pedro the baja bug): 'Baja' Beetle by Brian Snelson, on Flickr My wife's gonna hate me when we finally get a place with a large garage because I'm gonna need three acvw's: the stock 64, the loud and fast 66, and the beat to poo poo baja from whatever year is convenient.
