I've never tried the horns, but they'll just spam the extinguisher non-stop. It's a shame you can't take them on ground STFs with you.

It's the last free ship you'll get from levelling (get the patrol escort). They also hand out three t6 ships a year for doing the events (winter, anniversary and summer).

Its the Commander seat that's the problem. If that had been a hybrid it wouldn't be quite so bad, but a ship with a vanilla commander engineering seat is basically a ship without a commander seat at all.

e: Not to mention npc keldons pop photonic fleet. I woulda been fine if the box keldon was sci heavy, but nooooo, had to give us this trash instead. And for additional insult they include a lovely trait that tries to fool you into thinking maybe aceton beam ain't so bad after all.
