Sure, and the particular examples of drama you like suck. Identity Crisis is one of the worst comics ever published by the Big Two, on a technical, thematic, and moral level.

We are in a comic book movie thread. We have accepted that the content we enjoy watching is trashy on some level. It's why I can enjoy things like Smallville and Supergirl despite knowing that they are not high quality shows.

Who gives a poo poo if it's Of Quality

Whose quality?

If you enjoy it, you enjoy it. You can figure out why if yo uwant to, but the simple fact is, not everything has to be perfect, and a film called Night Beast can be more enjoyable to watch than a film called (Insert Oscar award winning mega hit here) despite one being objectively a worse film.

Because Night Beast is amazing.

Well certainly not me. I'm not aware of Night Beast but you can still like something and acknowledge that it has flaws. By your logic, nobody should criticize anything. People can enjoy watching Sharknado for instance but nobody is going to call that movie good.

There is basically no difference between 2016: Obama's America and Kung Fu Hustle.

there's a pretty stark difference between the tv equivalent of junk food and something actively repugnant and crion really clearly is putting the story you're defending in the latter position

While I'd put them in the same tier of quality, they're different kinds of bad; Identity Crisis was an idea that could have been fantastic executed absurdly poorly, Arrow and Flash are mediocre ideas done in a mediocre way.

Watch Arrow up to when Manu Bennett peaces out of the show, I'd say.

I stopped after the half of third season (or maybe I DID watch all of 3rd season but it was loving trash) and really, Manu carried that TV show. Had the whole team on his back, do.

As far as I know, Smallville and Supergirl never used rape as cheap shock value. Identity Crisis is simply a manual on how to NOT write a story centering around sexual assault.

Was Identity Crisis the one where someone's wife ended up in a coma or died because her jealous friend shrunk down to microscopic levels and danced on her brain?

Or did it just involve Dr Light raping that one lady and then him and batman being mindwiped by the JLA?

The issue isn't you liking it or hating it, rather it is the way you fail to understand why you like or hate things. Reading your complete incomprehension over BvS alone is like living in a Dilbert comic strip. Reading your rationalisation for your dislike is likewise amazing.

Also, Smallville's Lex Luthor is really the only good thing about that show...aside from Chloe's fine, sexy rear end. :heysexy:

Not a comic book movie per se, but I just watched Judex after having it sit on my shelf for a couple years. Loved it. Arsene Lupin with a smattering of Batman.
