I do have to admit also I had never used a macbook before this year somehow and I tried to use my sister's to do some quick work online and I was just infuriated by the virtual buttons on the touchpad, I kept accidentally triggering them and it made me really sad to see that now PC manufacturers are using this style of design. Also this is something I'm sure I would get used to but I could never guess which shortcuts were gonna be on the options button and which were gonna be on the control or apple button or whatever the other shortcut button is. It didn't seem like an easy conversion from alt->options and control->control. Edit: Looking at a picture again, I remember what it was now, it was that I kept thinking "control" would do what control normally does and options was alt, and I had no idea what command was but command meant control it looks like. The USB port will die or it will just stop turning on within like three years. It was only eighteen months before the USB on my Nexus 5 needed to be replaced. A few months after that, the power button got finicky, and soon after the phone restarted a few times and never powered back on. The same thing happened to my S2.

I've had a free lovely windows phone for a year. I repair cell phones as a job. I'm going to buy a 400$ phone this week and hope it will last 2 years. It has a headphone jack. It is not apple

I didn't know they said the headphone jack couldn't handle "HD" audio. Is that real? Did they really say that? Because a headphone jack is analog. It's just metal. It can handle infinite bandwidth, or at least right up until it's moving so many electrons that it physically melts from the heat, which thanks to the kinds of signals it transfers it is incapable of doing that. The connector has literally nothing to do with bandwidth or the "HDness" of a system. It is a physical extension of the headphone wires, which even the new wireless earbuds have, they're just really short and only exist inside the earbuds themselves, but they still have them. Literally every speaker in existence has metal cables or wire that connect it to the thing providing the electricity that moves the speakers. All the bandwidth processing and stuff happens in the digital to analog converters, which are entirely separate things. Basically I'm either gullible and missed the joke or Apple is outright lying, which would be shocking for a large corporation to do I know.

I have a wireless apple mouse at work it's really nice to use but the charge port being on the bottom is the stupidest loving thing I actually have a second poo poo cheap mouse that I use for an hour or so when the battery runs out I had a wireless apple keyboard too but I got IT to give me a real one because the dumb thing loses connection all the time and has no numpad lol
