not really, swiping was going away anyways and i'm pretty sure you can still connect a usb card reader to the camera kit and have it detected as keyboard for your ghetto card reader needs

when earbuds fall out it's usually because the cable got snagged on something most normal people don't have a plethora of devices that they need to hot-swap their headphones and other peripherals
