That is one fugly flak armor chestpiece, but it's hardly surprising, artists have a hard time getting bolters and lasguns right, Forgeworld doesn't know what a bolt pistol looks like, and no cosplayer has ever made a good flak chestpiece.

nah that's just what happens when you don't use spray primer correctly. Probably sprayed too far away, or let it dry in the sun.

Oh, trust me, I definitely know about that experience. Though when that's happened to me, I usually just strip the figure and start over again, instead of painting over it. But when you've gone through the effort of giving your space mans greenstuff tits and pigtails, I guess you're not going to let a little thing like primer fuzz bother you.

Or, ya'know, use GW "primer" instead of a proper primer. The old GW not-primers seem to be especially prone to this effect. I've never had the problem after I switched to car primers, regardless of outside temperature.
