We're also not going to be getting an episode on November 8th either I'm guessing. Election years are a bitch.

Didn't one of the CW shows come back from hiatus for a week, then skip a week or two? It was crazy, and that combined with how bad they were getting made me stop watching them.

As with every major election year you're going to see lots of shows skipping weeks. It's just how things work.

I was hoping with the "right to the action" season-opener that we wouldn't get the slow-drip yet again but they wouldn't even say the director's name for reasons I don't understand and it made it a little awkward. Also Mack and Fitz just blew a perfectly decent opportunity to apprehend Daisy because they were emotionally hurt. Come on, show.

Lucifer debuted last week, and skipped this week, as the show was preempted by the literal devil Monday.

They said his name. When Coulson and May walk into his office, he says, "Phillip!", and Coulson responds with, "Jeffery.".

That's what Mack was trying to do for 6 months under orders from the director. I can buy that they didn't think they'd be able to pull it off though.

I mean, the fact that (a) Caulson and Mack (and May) went after her without telling SHIELD last episode and (b) Mack let her go without a fight this episode suggests that even if they had found her they wouldn't have been bringing her into SHIELD in handcuffs.

That's kind of how Caulson's crew operates. Its also specifically why the new Head said he was taking Caulson off the Daisy and May cases because he knows that's how they operate.

I know :smith: I like to think this is a subtle jab at ABC for cancelling the show, because I thought Agent Carter was pretty great overall. It's a shame they ended it on a cliffhanger - I'd really like to see the beginnings of Shield but I doubt we'll get that :(

It would be kind of douchey to take a shot at them considering it should have never had a season two with its ratings.

I really like Reyes, I can't put my finger on why, his lines are mostly cliches, but he's really knocking the character out of the park for me. Maybe it's because he has great chemistry with Chloe and Ghost Rider is pretty iconic.

Yeah, I guess. Season 2 of Agent Carter wasn't as good as the first season (personal opinion). I had really wished they explored more about the circumstances that had lead up to the founding of Shield, but instead we got a story about the darkforce that didn't really go anywhere.

I'm digging the actor who's playing Reyes after this last episode. I'm looking forward to see what happens next
