You guys are missing the important part. Conway and Bannon took Trump from ~15% chance to win on RCP to ~40% chance to win, and they're being dumped because it might hurt Trump's business. Does this sound like a man who really wants to be president?

It sounds like a man who either has to blame his campaign or accept that his poor performance was due to his own lack of skill.

Do you think the Saudi government had anything to do with 9/11, and should be held accountable as a full government, or do you think elites in the Saudi government promoted an ideology and gave money to adherents without knowing what that money would specifically be used for?

If the latter, which seems a really tenuous chain of responsibility, are you okay with the idea of non-Americans suing the American government over its sending foreign aid to pro-government or anti-government forces over the last sixty years?

Led Zeppelin was fantastic. Their rendition of 'When the Levee Breaks' is one of the best of all time.

Johnny Cash was amazing.

Bowie is obvious.

Jethro Tull, AC/DC, Rolling Stones, The Who (still around in the 70's...Quadrophenia: c'mon son), Black Sabbath, early Aerosmith, Freddy loving Mercury of Queen.

And hell yes they got a lot of their music from old black blues men, because Old Black Blues Men Were Awesome. It was a crime that America didn't give (most of) them their due popularity and fame (The legend himself, B.B. King comes to mind), but I'm glad someone brought it out for us all to hear. If they didn't? It'd have just died out. That would have been even worse. Imagine a world where Jazz was the hardest music style out in the mainstream. I don't think I'd want to live in such a place.

CNBC poll on the debate

Not as good as the Drudge 80/20 for Trump, mind.

quote:

In the survey, 52 percent of likely voters declared Clinton the winner, while 21 percent said Trump won, and 26 percent said neither one.
The online poll of 7,541 people, conducted Sept. 26-27 following the debate, carries an error margin of 1.6 percentage points.

Fully 50 percent of Democrats said the debate had changed their opinion of the former Secretary of State for the better.
Just 2 percent of Democrats said their opinion of Clinton changed for the worse.
Just 26 percent of Republicans said the debate changed their opinion of Trump for the better, while 6 percent said it had changed for the worse.

By 30 percent to 13 percent, female likely voters said their opinion of Mrs. Clinton had improved rather than worsened.
By 27 percent to 11 percent, they said their opinion of Trump had worsened rather than improved.

69 percent of female likely voters said Trump lacks the personality and temperament to serve as president.
59 percent said Clinton does have the personality and temperament to serve in the Oval Office.

God damn it, you've got to be kind.
'Dilbert' Cartoonist: Was Hillary Drugged During Debate?'

Hillary Clinton appeared to be artificially alert and may have been drugged for Monday night's debate, "Dilbert" cartoonist Scott Adams wrote Tuesday.

"Clinton looked [to my eyes] as if she was drugged, tired, sick, or generally unhealthy, even though she was mentally alert and spoke well," Adams wrote. "But her eyes were telling a different story. She had the look of someone whose doctors had engineered 90 minutes of alertness for her just for the event. If she continues with a light campaign schedule, you should assume my observation is valid, and she wasn't at 100 percent.

"Some will say Clinton outperformed expectations because she didn't cough, collapse, or die right on stage. That would be true if she also looked healthy in general, and her campaign schedule from here on out is full. We'll know more this week, based on her schedule."
