Usually in this kind of case the goal is to see the police officers responsible fired. Both officers have already resigned is the problem. Going forward it's unclear what the former-officers could be charged with, or what punishment sought.

In past elections the turnout by Hispanic voters has always been lower than what Democrats would have wished (quick google search says in 2012 whites voted 64%, blacks 68%, hispanics 48%). If registration is mirroring actual demographics, that's a fantastic sign.
