Also, according to the debate Pence is running with some guy named "Donald Trump" who is definitely not the one everyone else has been seeing. So whatever the reaction to this debate I can't imagine it will have any staying power.

Pence won first half because of all the crosstalk and he sounded more prepared, but the last 20 minutes he really struggled to address specific charges about Donald Trump, and those failures are soundbite-friendly. So nothing matters.
