If Trump can be convinced that more oppo research release will negatively damage his brand to the point of financial ruin, I think he might drop out. But I think that's the only thing that'd scratch at a chance of getting him to do so.

I just like Trump saying "well this happened 10 years ago," like it was some youthful indiscretion and he's a changed man now. I mean 1.) Dude you were like 60 when this happened, how much do 60 year old rich farts change? 2.) Dude I knew better than that at like 7. 3.) Dude, you're trying to sell us on a changed man narrative when you just the other week took an unprompted shot at Rosie O'Donnell - who I forgot even existed until you mentioned her - during a presidential debate and spent the next week fat-shaming a beauty queen.

Regarding the debate, remember that Trump's billion dollar tax loss also stands to be litigated. "Grab 'em by the pussy" offends everyone with a conscience. Going after Trump's alleged wealth and business acumen is the bait that could draw Trump into something truly stupid.

If anyone would like a reason to arzy, there's a chance this tape could get Johnson enough of the vote that his party qualifies for federal funds next cycle.

Pussygate is damning for Trump because it will keep white women from voting Republican. The thing is, Kaine went after Pence for this exact thing: "Why don't you trust women?" in regards to abortion. ANYWAY, EFFORT POST: Ok. time. This week started with Monday, coming off of probably the worst loving ever for Trump. Khan week was bad, this was worse. I THOUGHT LAST WEEK WAS TERRIBLE, WHAT THE HELL. Like, Clinton metaphorically ripping his head off at the debate, then taking a steaming dump down the neck when she brought up his Ms Universe comments, followed by the 3am tweet storm, and his taxes getting released. But this week, good gods. First thing that drops is an AP report about his actions on his show. He later said it was for an "Entertainment Effect" or some BS and no one buys it. However, that story quickly gets buried by the fact he did business with an Iranian bank linked to terror, and even /that/ doesn't last long either. During a military town hall, he makes at /best/ ignorant statements about PTSD. The NY AG sends a C&D to his foundation, and Newsweek pretty much comes out and said "Yeah, he bought Chinese metals over American". PTSD ultimately wins the night. Tuesday the VP debate brought some glimmer of hope for Trump, with Pence winning. However, it turned into a Pyrrhic victory as jumpcuts from both the Clinton camp (natch) and CNN (!!!) appear the next day. At worst, it stopped the bleeding. Matthew took over the next two days combined with some post VP Debate analysis (I was also gone most of Thursday so I missed a lot). Yesterday, the day opens with him bringing the Central Park Five up again for whatever reason, and video surfaces of his opinions of Native American casinos. That is quickly forgotten for the obvious reason. And now, there's reports that /there's still more/?

I'mOkWithThis.jpg No really, two reasons: 1. The GOP is sinking. I can see some of the people who only believe in the fiscal/small gov portions of the party jumping to the libertarians. The "soft" social conservatives (aka the ones who it isn't a wedge issue for, but still believe in it) are possible ones to bail, but maybe not. The social conservatives/racists/bigots/etc are going to say in the GOP. Two small parties are going to play spoiler for each other for a while until they can get it together. 2. It puts how terrible the libertarians are in the limelight.

Trump's name is on every ballot now. There's no way to change it. Pence taking over is going to result in Hillary painting him as the hardest of hardcore supporters by virtue of being the VP candidate.
