trust me, I'm a cat.

Isn't that weird that recently more and more K$ campaigns are basically "make a successfull franchise", without the whole "start small, gain popularity and then eventually expand into other media"? Do these people seriously think they can manufacture such thing out of thin air, without building a fanbase?

As a bonus: the Hearthstone classes (the last nine) are in alphabetical order, but Deva and Transcendent aren't. It's like they didn't even try to mix them in.

Woah guys, Fox News and CNBC? Must be some hot poo poo.

However if you do a Google search, it just comes back with a couple local Fox affiliates reposting a announcement from a press release aggregator. Nothing shows up for "CNBC" but there are a few NBC affiliates doing the same, but also two of the NBC affiliates appear to have removed the press release.

At least the people who use copyrighted IPs and think they can just ask for money to make thier own sequels are kinda cutely naive, the balant 'thing x but with the serial numbers filed off' (unless its been made with people with talent who can't don't have the rights) projects seem really cynical and cash grabby.

From the Kickstarter 'rules'

Projects that involve the development of physical products must feature explicit demos of working prototypes. While you can run a project focused on the creation of a prototype, you can't offer the product that is under development as a reward.

I mean, Valve, Sony and Oculus can't do it as well as this guy can. Obviously.
