same happening to me in GBS. in the Scott Adams thread, after the page loads I get redirected to another random page. First went to "www.afesurveys.com", second time to "www.reimageplus.com". Wasn't happening in other GBS threads https://forums.somethingawful.com/showthread.php?threadid=3792911 chrome, win10

I just got one which took me to a webpage that started screaming "critical alert from microsoft" and popped up popups until I hard-killed my browser. Happened in the D&D USPOL thread.

I just got this ridiculous full-window light boxed pop-over auto-play video while I was in the middle of crafting the very finest of posts. I'd been on the page for a while so I guess it came with an ad update/refresh, I wasn't able to get an address for the ad or anything since at least it didn't divert me anywhere and was willing to go away when I X'd out of it.

Do you by chance have Charter Internet service and browse the forums over HTTP rather than HTTPS? Some ISPs do truly heinous poo poo where they inject ads directly into your pages. My friend in Colorado recently experienced this with Comcast advertising some new service.

Sent Lowtax an email. What sucks is I dunno really what ads are doing it because they redirect and then if I hit the back button the ad itself is different... does the URL link it takes us to help at all? I saw one of these for the first time, it was straight-up a redirect to some lottery bullshit. A website with the URL "g9i.sevmob.com" keeps pulling me out of SA and into Google Play to load up its page for Uber. So this is what they mean when they talk about "disruption"  .Time: Several over yesterday and today, most recently Wed 19th October circa 5.50am BST.
