Jackman and Snyder should team up to make a bottle movie where a guy is in a gym doing the ultimate workout while a series of people come in and he has to get them out of a jam but also complete his reps.

It is also the most interesting visually. It had scenes where I was looking at it in the theater and thinking to myself, "I actually like just looking at this image!" I'm trying to think of other Marvel movies like that and am drawing a blank.

Chris Foss did some of the visual design for the movie, which was funny to see since I saw GOTG right after Jodorowsky's Dune and felt like there was something similar to the ships.

I mean sure, possibly steroids too, but it's possible to get jacked without drugs. As people have said, when you don't have a sedentary nine to five it's much easier to find the time build yourself up.

The movie/modelling version is unattainable without some form of body destruction though.

You can only build so much muscle at a time naturally; excessive training and eating is not going to make you go past that threshold. When you hear things like actors putting on 15 pounds of muscle in 6 months, it's obviously drugs.

I don't think anyone said his physique was impossible. I think he gets brought up because he went from a soft fat guy to a ripped dude in a few months. Usually at his age of 37, that takes a lot of time. Like a lot of time!

I dunno, I'm 37 and I started working out this year and I lost, like, sixty pounds and several inches of fat and gained muscle definition, and that's just with thirty to forty minutes in the gym four or five times a week and not really changing my diet. If I had a team of nutritionists looking over my shoulder and spent a couple of hours in the gym every day, I'd probably look shredded, too.

Hugh Jackman for Cable.

Interesting that they never dropped "X-Men" or "Wolverine" at all, and just one reference to "mutants". I could easily see a general audience member watching this trailer and having no idea it was a superhero film.

Gets me intrigued, though.

Wolverine or Jackman? Wolverines been alive since like the 1800s or something, so probably not. Jackman, time will tell, but also unlikely.
