All our managers here are issued surface tablets and I can confirm this is the case. They're carried with the keyboard accessory to every meeting.

I don't know why anyone would ever use the tablet functionality outside of casual art? All the demos of some middle manager marking up some poo poo with the pen ignore the fact that in reality middle managers are Jira jockies or whatever project tracking tool your company uses.

Also, since apparently it determines if its asleep by that little flap being folded over the screen, the tablet has a habit of waking up while in your bag and draining the battery, so often our manager will come into a meeting and his computer is dead.
