Lord Hydronium posted:I forget the name, but I know exactly who you're talking about. It annoys the hell out of me too. You might like "Stuff They Don't Want You To Know", "Thinking Sideways", "Generation Why" or "The Boogie Monster". The best of those four podcasts is Boogie Monster, two comedians who love conspiracy theories just drinking and talking about it. However, don't tell Nuebot, because they spend a good 40 minutes every episode talking about doing standup comedy, good food they've eaten, recipes, LA life, what it's like being on the road, or similar things. But all four of those podcasts hit conspiracy theories, weird events, and true crime stuff that isn't serial killer focused.

I love MFM but I'm not some spergy weirdo who needs everything to be on-topic all the time. I enjoy their personalities. I'm also not repulsed by the sound of women's voices. It does annoy me a bit when they're blatantly reading directly from Wikipedia, though (Georgia is especially guilty of this). I tried listening to Last Podcast on the Left (I chose the Fred & Rosemary West episode) and it was brutally unfunny. That's like morning zoo crew poo poo. To each his own, yadda yadda.

on relistening to the Tischborne Identity, i just realized something (maybe its because none of them commented on it at the time), but near the beginning of the story Tom showed his pipe to Gibbs that had "RTC" scratched on it to show he was Roger Tischborne. Which means that his pipe had TC scratched into it (Tom Castro) and he just loving added an R in front and I guess Gibbs didn't stop to ask what the C stood for theres no way Gibbs wasn't totally in on it the whole loving time. pretty much everyone played that family for suckers

Ohhhh, boy, today's Dollop. The parallels were obvious throughout but right about the 50 minute mark I genuinely started feeling ill. Luckily that's right near the end, so it was obvious that the downfall was going to come hard and fast. But that didn't make any easier to swallow.

The Seattle crowd is pretty terrible. They LOVE shouting poo poo out. This congressman Zioncheck is totally nuts, though. I wonder what happened to him to make him snap. It's not one of the top 50 episodes, and it's random as hell, but it was still pretty funny. The screeching halt end to the story was worth the listen.

Are you one of those mythical creatures with ultra-sensitive ears who incessantly complains to podcast hosts about their audio quality and equipment? I didn't think you actually existed! Yeah the quality gets bearable after a few minutes. At first you can't have the volume up enough to hear them without getting deafened by the crowd.
