Nothing, takes 67 Senate votes for removal.

Not my job to give you a new avatar because you don't like the angry av someone bought you. The whole reason SA has that function is so idiots can spend money changing other people's avatars. The correct response is to laugh that someone got so pissy they spent $10 to change your tiny internet picture.

Don't get me wrong my av is a constant reminder that I made some idiot Trump supporter waste $10 with absolutely no effort exerted on my part, and I appreciate that aspect.

A very, very dangerous precedent, at the very least.

Second, it takes 2/3rds majority of Senators, so it would be impossible (one party is very unlikely to get that many Senators, so it takes something clearly indefensible to convict, ala Nixon, who got out before they did).:nixon:

It's a decent remake but yeah people have dog piled onto the director for being a rapist... which never stopped anyone from seeing a Roman Polanski movie but I'll give you one guess as to what the director of BoaN skin tone is and why it suddenly matters.

Before it came out, yeah, but most people seemed to love it.

The difference between the new Ghostbusters and the new Star Wars is that the new Star Wars was really good, so only hardcore racists/misogynists complained about it being too "PC"after it came out, whereas the new Ghostbusters was mediocre, so the casual misogynists, who are much more numerous, are able to dogpile it as the worst movie and point to it as an example of "PC gone mad!"

No, a tiny fraction of internet weirdos got salty, Star Wars made 2 billion dollars, people didn't care.

A less-than-tiny fraction of people got salty about Ghostbusters.

The Senate races are more important than the Presidential race at this point in time (since Clinton will win). Clinton winning avoids a Trumpocalypse, sure, but 4 more years of absolute stagnation, with a Senate who can stall forever on SCOTUS nominations, and a continuation of the least-effective Congress ever is not a good thing.

What I heard of Birth of a Nation is it's a decent action type revenge movie but not an incredible race extravaganza like people were playing it up to be.

I'll have to stick to The Jerk for that. Truly an inspirational movie about race relations in America.

FWIW, 538 pegs it at 65% chance of Dem control for the Senate atm.

If Hillary wins, the Senate will likely be fairly close. It is very unlikely that the Republicans would maintain a party-line Senate vote on impeachment, so it would probably stall out and fail. The news media would be in 100% freakout mode. Even if the Senate sustained an impeachment, there would be little to no political will or motivation to repeat the process for Tim Kaine, so we'd probably end up with a Kaine presidency.

The thing about impeaching Hillary is it will hilariously backfire, like it did with her husband.

The other thing is Tim Kaine isn't much different than Hillary policy wise, so while they may slay the demon, they have nothing on the apprentice.

I'm that 2% of Hill supporters who think she's a demon :unsmigghh:

FBI Director James Comey argued privately that it was too close to Election Day for the United States government to name Russia as meddling in the U.S. election and ultimately ensured that the FBI's name was not on the document that the U.S. government put out, a former FBI official tells CNBC.

The official said some government insiders are perplexed as to why Comey would have election timing concerns with the Russian disclosure but not with the Huma Abedin email discovery disclosure he made Friday.
