I'm really hoping Arrival is as good as the trailers made it look. The director dude did Sicario so I have good confidence it will be great. No one will go see it tho because it is a serious, somber sci fi without Matthew McConnaughey.

I've heard the effects are really neat and the story is typical Marvel story, but with no Avengers tie-ins. Seems cool to me, as someone who enjoys "generic marvel trash."
