I'm so used to cars like that existing in Australia from the manufactuer I was wondering why that's awesome. (Not saying it's in the wrong thread, just more it's not exactly a unique thing in 'Strayla)

That is a lot more work than just using a 2 door wagon and blocking off the windows. http://www.chevelles.com/wagons/64wagon.html My uncle just picked this 57 Chevy stretched 10 inched in the hood. rowebot44 fucked around with this message at 00:29 on Nov 3, 2016 |

You can pay tour guides to take you to that spot in a jeep, it's a pretty fun hour or two. They set up the route for an appropriate number of thrills for someone who's never been off road. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VMlA6KIOwrw Then you can stand below the "white line" and act confused why anyone would take a bike up there.

The story of the jeeps is fun too, it was started by a real estate agent in the Sedona area. He'd take people out to view properties in a jeep and after a while discovered people with no intention of buying a house were asking him to take them out to view properties when all they really wanted was an offroad tour. So he stopped selling land and started up a tour company (pink jeep tours), and now there's a half dozen similar companies in the area.

And one of those competing companies now has exclusive vehicular access to a trail on public lands. No other companies, no other Jeeps, nothing. t Besides, if you want to do Sedona right while not driving your own Jeep there, go rent one from a company that expects you to actually use it.
