I'm feeling pretty pessimistic. I think abuela is going to win the election handily, but the Senate will remain republican, and they'll use that as an excuse to claim that Clinton doesn't have a mandate and also they don't like her face, so the SC will remain with 8 justices for a very long time.

If a GOP Senate tries to keep the SCOTUS at 8 judges, it gives Democrats a YUGE weapon to use against them in 2018, and while the "burn it down and salt the earth" crowd in Congress probably hasn't thought that far ahead, you can bet Mitch McConnell has.

Trump banks were forced to make deal with him after bankruptcy of casinos because he personally guaranteed loans.
