I am come undone. I thought I had a pretty encyclopedic knowledge of the first couple of years of Sinfest but obviously I did not. e: wait this seems like it's way after he's given up getting syndicated. Art's all over the place.

Every now and then I go back to have a look and it's more of the same stuff.

There's a difference between well-done (a layer of char to sear in the juice and brown all the way through) and the way Trump has it cooked. They basically serve him a charcoal briquette. I prefer my steaks rare. Hell, I'd eat it right off the cow if I had teeth for it.

Searing a steak does not retain its juices.

Searing it just gives it that yummy crunchy outside. It is also why the black and blue steak is the ONE TRUE way of preparing it.

Elfface posted:Sexy Losers. A fairy brings a sex doll to life, because as a treasured object it should be able to know it's masters love for it. Two different storylines. There's the Dutch wife hanging herself, and then there's the girl in love with the mortician who refuses to notice her, because he's a necrophiliac. I think the corpse he violates is a third girl who had her own suicide. gently caress, Thin H Line was a darker comic than I remembered.

I think y'all are confusing searing a steak with cooking it well. You can sear it to whatever temperature you want.

As long as you put enough ketchup on it, it doesn't really matter.

Field Mousepad posted:I think y'all are confusing searing a steak with cooking it well. You can sear it to whatever temperature you want. Searing a steak does not cause it to retain more moisture versus being cooked to the same temperature without searing.

I eat meat raw. I gorge on huge chunks that I tear away from a still warm cow, I swallow them down without chewing. Lol if you don't do exactly that.

I dip my steak in A1+ketchup. And I like my tacos to be beef and refried beans on a soft tortilla, flour or corn doesn't bother me so long as it's FRESH, with grated cheddar, some lettuce, and some nice spicy salsa.

Field Mousepad posted:I think y'all are confusing searing a steak with cooking it well. You can sear it to whatever temperature you want. Nobody's confusing what searing a steak is, we're all aware of what searing means. It does not vacuum-seal the juices inside the steak, no matter how you do it or to what temperature. It does give the steak superior flavor and mouthfeel, which is why you do it.
