It was interesting in that it was something new to a SF game, sure. It wasn't interesting in practice because it's rarely the wrong choice and didn't have a lot of counterplay. Plus, it's not like they're getting rid of it entirely. Just toning it down a bit.

Well I don't play sf5 a lot and the changes don't sound major enough to influence it's play so i'll just look at the characters I won't play as an not comment on gameplay season 2 beyond, because I'm not going to pay for characters.

You can take everyone's AA jabs except Gief's. His close St. jab was always designed to deter people from jumping away since SFII and compliments his game.

I'm just violently against taking away AA options because this game is already a fuckin' jumpfest. AA jabs are dumb but having no AAs is dumber. Man, why do I care anyway, I haven't touched this game in months and if I ever feel the need to gamble I just play mobage BS. Some people enjoy it and enjoy these changes so more power to y'all.

these are both good imo.

mika's fmp is an annoying move to get stuck in when you aren't close to the corner and are out of control for like 4 seconds. she gets plenty of corner carry off of peach anyway.

air legs getting blocked should stop momentum its not cool that you can bully with a + on block dive kick while also having the best ground game in the game but idk

Air legs is more of a low crush pressure tool than a divekick, even if you're thinking of it as a Rufus divekick. It was dumb compared to most SFV options but the game is so bland please just add more dumb stuff to the bad characters instead

so maybe buff chars by giving them unique powerful things instead of taking them away from them

air legs could be intercepted with AAs so its not as oppressive as you're making it out to be
