In fairness, it does sound like a p sweet deal; turn up to a race weekend, have a chat with Carlos Slim, chuck your state of the art F1 car round the track for a couple of days and then party. I can't say I'd turn that deal down. He's just one of the drivers that's been around for a long time, but never seems to leave much of an impression. Speaking of them, I legitimately never remember if Hulkenberg is still driving in F1 or not. I just looked, wow, Perez finished 7th and Hulk 10th. It's like they were never on TV or something!

I really wish Hulkenbgerg hadn't signed with Renault so early. I'd love to see him in that seat.

Nobody seems to want the hulk to drive for them, even after they raised the minimum weight to give heavier drivers a chance you never hear about people sniffing after him for a seat. He didnt even place in the autosport team bosses poll. (Ham came in first, ROS came in third)

It'd be hilarious if it was Gutierrez to take that seat after what he said to Lewis in Hungary: "He should respect all of the competitors. You never know, maybe in the future I will be fighting for a championship with him, so he has to respect that."

Verstappen isn't going to Mercedes, he just signed a new deal with Red Bull and that would cost too much to release him (even if they allowed it) Alonso probably isn't moving anywhere because the Honda people pay his salary and want to keep him Button probably isn't because he's getting paid by Honda and seemed pretty chuffed with being out of F1 Vettel only could be if there's some archaic release clause that he triggered due to sucking, but even then, Mercedes may not want two guys of that type Hulkenberg probably isn't either because the ink is barely dry on his Renault deal, but stranger things have happened It's probably going to be Wehrlein, Bottas, or somebody else amenable.
