Yeah, if I really wanted to watch that on youtube, I'd just find a proxy site. Or use niconico and hope they don't force the html5 player on me (because without a quality selector, that's just going to break my poo poo) Last year's christmas stuff kinda clashes pretty fiercely with this years I just wanted my puchis to have a nice dinner to go with the multiple fireplaces…Also a non-turtle kotatsu would be nice. Maybe a nice maroon or something? I think Shin has a circulation problem or something, she's glued to things with fires in them.

I've had that same goddamn R nico taking up space in my member list for months. It's awful. Now that I've touched it for a bit, Idol Jihen is weird. Most of that is the split screen, which isn't too bad on easier difficulties but I swear for it to work right you'd have to be cockeyed or something. Also it's been ages since I've played an idolgame where you don't actually collect idols, just stuff for them. I wonder if there's any benefit to evenly leveling them all…? Also, it's a bit annoying that every outfit piece is tied to a specific idol, even generic stuff like 'type'-colored practice clothes. The mobage battling system is kinda nice, though. You get to look at little 3d dolls in the awful goddamn mess the automatic outfit selector puts them in (assuming you wanted to win, of course) while it decides whose numbers are bigger. Also, the little bits of the story segments I've managed to probably mostly understand are kinda funny. I think someone stole all the [something from satsuma, a fish fry I think?] and mentaiko (which I guess is caviar of some sort?). Good thing they are idols AND government workers~ Surely they will get to the bottom of this. Still, needing to grind/get lucky with drops to have a high enough appeal to clear the first song on normal is a bit rough. Also kinda silly: you can put it into a '2D' mode, but that looks for all the world like a freeze-frame of the same 3d models, only now nothing is moving. Pretty 'eh.' Oh, but there's 「アイピク」which becomes "iPic" once you open it — it's that SMS/SNS section some idol games have that usually doesn't really do anything~ You know, in case you wanted more little pictures of the lil' dollies. It's cute enough, I guess.

I haven't seen any benefit to levelling each idol, though when you use two idols a certain amount it pops up a 'unit story' for them so it's not completely pointless to put them in. I never noticed the 2D option for songs but it sounds like I wasn't missing much. I just found the button to rank up idols, so that's progress (it's another incremental score multiplier, and skill level increase) Also what's your friend code, I guess I'm 4D653DD3   but yeah, it seems a little silly when they look literally identical that they're only for this idol
