Really puts Dia's statement back in episode 3 in perspective. It's really ironic that the success of school idols in the past is what helped Aqours in the past, but it's that very same success that resulted in higher standards and much more competition than what the previous generation had to deal with.

I think my friend that I know from NY cons is helping run the karaoke room in AB again this year, so I'm sure I'll be able to catch you there. Saint Snow is super hype, can't wait until they actually get voices in SIF. Also Zep, spoiler alert, Step! Zero to One is not in the anime this season. Guess they're saving it for the all but guaranteed second season. Shame, I was expecting it so drat much because of the way they kept setting it up episode after episode, but it isn't there unfortunately. Still, the songs that do get used in later episodes grew on me a lot.
