Eat the Rich posted:Awesome, thanks. I'll probably just wait to get the rule book then if they're coming out with a new one later this year. The mini rulebook can be bought pretty cheap and there hasn't been any official confirmation of a new edition this year, so unless you want to wait until Q3, you may want to consider just eating that cost, or downloading a copy of the rules

If Creed and Alpharius fought, would Creed be able to reveal a titan before Alpharius turned it into a really tall Alpharius? Or would Creed become Alpharius the moment the fight even started?

Speaking of IG, How does this white and khaki scheme look? Did a couple test minis in it but never actually showed anyone to ask, apart from showing the base thing I took the picture for.

I'd try flipping the colors (white fabric, khaki armor) so you can get some shading on the white.

I like the scheme, but it could do with a bit more contrast/shading around the white to make it pop. Talking of Do we want to do a bunch of smaller stuff or one big battle? Maybe some more Killteam? Also some goons in the specialist games thread expressed an interest in some of the WHW exclusives so I may as well extent that to this thread. I'm not sure if there's a limit on copies per customer or anything so it'll be fcfs in that case. PM me if you're interested and I'll try figure out shipping costs and stuff.

Yeah, I like the concept, but your white is too 'pure' IMO you should look for 'light ghost gray' in acrylic (if it exists, thats the testors enamel name for it), washed with a darker gray (and brightened back up during drybrushing). A good metallic silver would look great with those khaki colors too; liquitex silver, VMC silver, Tamiya Gunmetal, or Testors Aluminum would work.

SRM posted:Use Ulthuan Grey. Go through my posts, I have a Stormtrooper force in a very similar scheme that might help you out. Seconding this; Ulthuan Grey is the way to go for White armor, highlit with White Scar. Depending on how you want them to look, a recess shade of Agrax Earthshade (and optional weathering with your choice of brown layer) is a great way to make the armor look dirty and battle-worn; the Tau Vior La sept is a great example of this: otherwise Nuln Oil, or watered down The Fang, in the recesses will give it a clean look
