Part of the problem is that the Democratic voter base is full of idiots. Hillary won the popular vote in 2008 for democratic nominee too. If not for the delegate system we'd have ended up with President McCain.

Let's not kid ourselves. There's a lot of that in the Republicans as well (Jeb!) It's just that this year the GOP primary vote was split so much among similar candidates that Trump managed a majority. And then Hillary had the scandals and let's face it zero charisma while Trump fed the desperate folks in the rust belt enough lies.

Even if Ethan meant well and is not a heel (haven't really watched his videos, just heard the buzz), it might stoke the fires/egos of people with worse opinions and actual assholes. Look how many comments you get when someone like Jontron makes a controversial remark that praise him for speaking THE TRUTH. They have an effect on some of their audience, like it or not.

It's what we do AFTER the gently caress up that usually matters as much as said gently caress up. ) Or just look at the stupid poo poo on your Facebook feeds. People are really goddamned DUMB. The reasons why are way too complicated to get into. Culture. Upbringing. Enablers. Bad schools. Just plain ignorance. Utter inability to ever think about anything or one but themselves. The media. While Todd seems to be getting a bit out of touch with current pop music at times (I'm not saying he is to blame, just noticing), his comedy still works. The Sean Mendis part was right on point. I also am a person that thinks Me too is so stupid it wraps around to entertaining.

Happy to see Todd bring the "NOT A RHYME" bit back. The new font he's using is weird though. And I can respect Todd's thoughts on "Me Too," but if it was up to me, it would be in the bottom 5. Honestly, as much as I don't like Daya or the Chainsmokers, I didn't think "Don't Let Me Down" was that bad. In general though, good list for an awful year.
